RES Home Care is a licensed home care agency seeking a Field Registered Nurse for Nassau County home care cases. This individual is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating healthcare and professional services of the Licensed Home Care Service Agency. This position oversees the opening of cases, the supervision of aides, and the orientation process for both employees and client care.

Please apply ONLY if you have the following qualifications:

• NYS is licensed and currently registered as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Two (2) years as a supervising community health nurse or:
• Two (2) years of home care nursing experience plus a master's degree in nursing, public health, business administration, or another health-related field.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the agency.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
